Haines Animal Rescue Kennel is a non-profit corporation dedicated to finding appropriate homes for unwanted and homeless animals, providing low-cost spay/neuter services and educating the public on responsible pet care. It is our goal to provide shelter for stray and abandoned animals while they await permanent adoptions, to provide access to veterinary care and grooming facilities and to offer educational opportunities that further the welfare of pets and animals in our community.
It is our goal to place pets in loving, permanent homes. An important part of this is making sure that the animal you are adopting fits with your lifestyle. Potential Adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application and participate in a brief, informal interview. Adoption fees for dogs are $75. For cats, the fee is $35. All animals will be vaccinated and spayed or neutered before going to their new homes. New adopters will receive a complimentary Haines 57 membership, which entitles you to discounts at our self-service groom room, as well as a subscription to our newsletter.
